Easy Apple Pumpkin Butter Recipe
It's that time of year coffee lovers! Delicious pumpkin spice coffee, crisp autumn air, piles of leaves and oversized sweaters. Not to mention...lots of baking!
To kick off the festivities, we've whipped up an EASY apple pumpkin butter recipe. No joke, it may be the best apple pumpkin butter we've ever had. But, we'll let you be the judge.
- 1 can (15 ounces) 100% Pure Pumpkin
- 1 medium apple, peeled and grated
- 1 cup apple juice
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2 tablespoons of butter
Combine: In a medium sized pot, combine the following; a can of pumpkin, medium apple (don't forget to peel & grate), apple juice, brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and butter.
Boil: Bring combined ingredients to a boil; reduce heat to low. Cook and stir occasionally, for 1 1/2 hours.
Serve: You apple pumpkin butter is complete and ready for you to enjoy! Best served with warm buttermilk biscuits and hot coffee!
Notes: Store your apple pumpkin butter in an airtight container and keep refrigerated. Lasts up to 2 months. This recipe makes 3 cups.
